It’s ADE week everybody…the week where everybody meets in Amsterdam. Tons of events, meetings, chats, meeting friends and a couple of beers, so I guess it’ll be great. I’ll be there from Wednesday 19th until Friday. Then I’m off to Berlin for the Ballroom Label Showcase at the House of Weekend and on Sunday I’m honored to be back at one of my favourite places in the world Sisyphos, playing at the Scheune from 3pm to 6pm.
What’s new for this week’s music?
Booka Shade re-released their era-defining Movements album on Blaufield including all the big tracks in remastered Versions plus loads of remixes, so if you don’t have it you got to grab it.
Jay Lumen also released an 11 track album called Lost Tales on Footwork packed with his usual energy-driven and dark techno sounds.
There’s also something new from myself out on Conic Records’ ADE Compilation with 13 tracks including my track ‘Cardinal’
Suara released their Kitties on Remix 2 Compilation including a massive remix from Miguel Bastida of Oscar L’s Alors on Danse.
Guestmix this week is provided again from the guys of Deeperfect and it’s my honor to announce Carlo Ruetz ahead of their upcoming gig at the Austrian capital Vienna on the 4th of November 2016 at the Eventarena Vösendorf surrounded by other Deeperfect artists like Matt Sassari, Carlo Ruetz and Miguel Bastida. So if you’re around in Vienna, you must not miss this one!
Carlo Ruetz is a Berlin-based techno act who had his breakthrough in 2013 when he topped the Beatport minimal techno charts. Since then he had releases on labels like Deeperfect, KD Music, Minus an loads of others. It’s a great honor to have him on the show this time.
