Dr. Stephanie Brehm, author of the brand new book, America’s Most Famous Catholic (According to Himself): Stephen Colbert and American Religion in the 21st Century, out now from Fordham Press. She received her PhD from Northwestern in Religious Studies Department. Her academic work uses ethnographic and media studies methods to explore the intersection of entertainment, mass media, and religion in twentieth- and twenty-first-century American society. She is currently the Assistant Director for Academic and Strategic Initiatives in The Graduate School at Northwestern.
