In my first chat with 2 guests at the same time, I get the chance to speak with co-authors of the Happy Runner, David and Megan Roche.

We start off with my questioning their habits in how they get ready for the day since they work from home like me.

I ask them point blank, what's the point of the book and what is a happy runner?

We discuss the importance of examining your reality and your identity.

Megan and David tell me about how important setting realistic attainable goals are in your overall life's journey.

We get off on a track that's always been important to me, realizing our own mortality as a motivation to accomplish the things we want.

As I continue my conversation with Megan and David I tell them about a philosophy one of my mentors shared with me: that life is meaningless unless you imbue meaning on it.

They tell me about their method for writing The Happy Runner: in that they wanted to make sure they stayed true to themselves in their authorship.

Megan and David talk to me about the importance or realizing your self worth without judgement on the athletic field of accomplishments.

Then they share with me how to find motivation to reach your potential as a person and athlete.

In the last part of my conversation with Megan and David I dive off the deep end and ask them about the meaning of life. Though I share my own thoughts on what it may possibly be.

We talk a little about how language forces our perception of the world through the words we have available to use to describe our reality.

I ask them more about a chapter in their book specifically about finding your why and how they go about finding a meaning and purpose behind what they do.

Before we finish up - I have to dive deeper into Megan's why for pursuing a PhD when she is already an MD and doing a dozen other projects.
