An endurance cyclist sits down with me today to share her experiences in adventure cycling along with her journey coming into this sport. She previously studied law and journalism and is also now a full-time cartoonist and speaker, Tegan Phillips.
We initially talk about her "impromptu" trip to the states to train for an upcoming cycling event and her realization of what it's like to live with other athletes and the need for individualization.
Before Tegan set her foot on the pedals, she studied law and journalism, and I ask her how and why she divert to another career. So she gladly tells me that switching to cycling was made after watching a cycle touring video introduced by her father.
Tegan's passion for getting into different adventures led her to draw comics and she tells me what adventure mindset she has and why she still uses her "fingers" to draw despite buying various stylus.
There's more to hear from Tegan so watch the full interview and find out what she did to continue cycling when "quitting" comes to her mind.
