Dr. Joseph Warren, a Harvard-educated physician, led the troops at Bunker Hill on 17 June 1775. Prior to hostilities, Dr. Warren counseled his troops: "Yours is the important question, upon which rest the happiness and liberty of millions yet unborn, act worthy of yourselves."
