We’re created to delight in something far greater than ourselves and to share that joy with others. Advent is a unique time where we’re invited to do so as the church because of Immanuel, God with us. When the angels appear before the shepherds on that cold night, they rejoice because of the good news that God is finally sending the one true Good Shepherd who will care for the sheep. He is the one Savior sent to rescue God’s people. He is the chosen Christ, anointed to do what no other man can do. He is our Lord who rules over us in covenant love and steadfast faithfulness which none can compare. Join with the angels in their song today!
