In this episode we will discuss and share perspectives from the 3rd Annual Olive Community Services Vision Luncheon held Sat., 12/14/19 in Buena Park, CA. A multigenerational five member panel shared insights and experiences as it related to eldercare for their parents, their feelings for their own care needs as they age and family expectations from a cultural perspective. Attendees ranged from young adults in their early 20's through elders in their 80's. A report on the aging readiness survey conducted by Olive Community Services was also presented along with the organization's plans for future programs and initiatives. This annual event is meant to raise awareness and the necessary funds for this nonprofit to continue expanding the organization's mission and purpose to provide culturally appropriate services to seniors, their families, and their community. The program is based on the concept that every older adult should live a vibrant, fulfilling and purposeful life.
