We continue talking about the Great Commission and our duty as disciples to make more disciples. Sometimes the hardest people to reach are those closest to us. What are excuses people use? How can you show Christ’s love and bring them in?
New year, new topic! The most important instruction we were given by Jesus was to GO! Proclaim the gospel and make disciples (Matthew 28:19 & Mark 16:15). We want to start this year encouraging you to follow this instruction and give some tips on how you can start this in your school or workplace.

The words we say can affect others. Gossip tears people down; curse words are careless and empty. The Bible warns against both. We should use our words to build each other up and Jesus said we will give an account for our empty words on judgment day. Let your words be gracious ❤️
God promised He would never leave or forsake us. So, when we don’t hear an answer to our prayers we want to know why.

Alcohol is a prevalent issue in the world. At some time on your life you will probably be faced with pressure to drink. As Christians, what should be our stance? Is just one glass okay? Bottom line: does it add to your life? Does it help you grow closer to God? If not, then just stay away!

In Ecclesiastes 3:11 Solomon talks about the God given tasks that he has seen in mankind. He goes on to say that EVERYTHING God made is beautiful and has eternity in their hearts. We know that God is wonderful and His creations are wonderful but forget that we are included in that. See your beauty and your worth today ❤️
Having a generous heart is a special thing. Often we are so focused on what other people and God give us that we forget that “it is more blessed to give than to receive”. Sometimes we think we are giving SOOO MUCH, but we will NEVER out give God!
People often ask “why can’t I just be happy?” When we know the Lord, we have much more than superficial happiness; we have a deep joy that nothing on earth can satisfy.
It’s the time of year for giving and receiving gifts! Do we remember to thank God (the giver of all things) for the small blessings He gives us every day? How can we change our hearts to a heart full of gratitude and joy?
Our culture has cheapened the beautiful gift that God gave a husband and wife. We get real about why it’s important to wait to open this gift and some ways you can keep your purity.
I encourage you all to read the whole chapter of Psalms 139. David talks about how God knows our thoughts and our words before we speak them, he knows our days before they even begin. Having such an amazing Creator like we do shows how valuable we are ☀️
We’ve all had a crush that we can’t get out of our minds. We’ve been in relationships where everything feels perfect. A lot of times we claim this as love, but it’s just infatuation. How do we tell the difference and why is it important?
“This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine” In Matthew 5:14-16 Jesus said “Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket”. Jesus does not want us to hide our lights, but to illuminate the world!
Jesus said if you look at someone desirably it’s the same as committing adulterous (or fornication). But do we understand what it means to lust? We hit the topic hard on and discuss how to correct it before it consumes your mind.
Put away your “Christian Mask” and put on the whole armor of God. It can be difficult to be the only Christian in the room, but just remember you are never alone.
Modesty is a hard topic for Christian young ladies. Jesus didn’t include hem lines in his sermon on the mount. Modest dress doesn’t hold us back or mean we’re ashamed of ourselves. It shows that we value our bodies and get our self-worth from God and our hearts rather than looks.

Navigating through the storms of life aren’t easy. We tend to act hastily based on emotions. But sometimes riding out storms is God’s path for us and we come out stronger in the end.

From the first time Mary is mentioned in the Bible, her life is not the way she planned. Through everything, she praised God.
Sometimes storms hit us out of nowhere! We have no control of how big they are or the circumstances surrounding them. We find out we are not prepared! We can rest knowing that with God as our “King over the flood” He’s got it covered! So, “be still and know” that He is GOD.
Rahab was about as far from God as you could get in OT times, but her faith in the one, true God saved her and her family. Have you ever felt like you’ve wandered so far from God that you can never return? God will always welcome you back!
Marina brings us some motivation from 1 Peter. Suffering on Earth is going to happen. Steadfast faith helps to get us through these times and look on to the eternal reward.
Abigail was a woman who showed great wisdom and decision making skills. We make decisions every day of our lives, so having wisdom to apply to situations is extremely important. Proverbs 4:7 “in all your getting, get wisdom, get understanding”
Taking your thoughts captive against unhealthy thoughts can take work. Your thoughts affect your attitude and outlook. When you think on Godly things, your attitude will be significantly better!
This woman we read about in Matthew 9, Mark 5, and Luke 8 showed great faith when she came to Jesus for healing. Jesus cared enough to call her out for this instead of letting her sneak away after she touched His garment. How do we get such great faith? What can halt our faith?
Today’s #MondayMotivation comes from 1 Chronicles 16:12. Remember the wondrous works He has done. It is easy to get distracted. So many times we have a million things to do and we forget to do them. But one thing we should never forget is how much God has done. He created the world, he made you, He loves you, He protects you, and works in ways we cannot even understand.
How do you want to be remembered? One verse defined how we remember Tabitha: “full of good works and charitable deeds”. Living a righteousness life is an important part of Christianity, but part of that is looking for opportunities to serve and give.
Marina brings us our #MondayMotivation from Romans. God’s love is everlasting! We sometimes see those qualities as negatives, but remind yourself that God loves everything about you! If you struggle with feeling unloved or alone, remember that God loves you and is ready to take you under His wings of comfort and He will lift us up no matter what we have done. What an AMAZING God we serve!!
God doesn’t make mistakes. Everything He creates has a purpose, including us. Do you struggle in finding your purpose?

When things aren’t going as we thought they would/should, it’s easy to be negative. Finding joy in the smallest things can change your whole outlook even in the most painful of circumstances. James 1:2 & 3
Judging others is often used in a negative way such as picking on flaws. When we come from a place of love and concern for someone’s soul, judging is not necessarily a bad thing. God wants us to lift each other when we are struggling. Always remember love and gentleness
Esther was a woman of great boldness. She had a hard decision to make, but because of her boldness and encouragement from her cousin, she was able to help save her people.
Hannah’s story is one that shows the power and peace that comes from prayer. Ava gives us some pointers on effective prayer!
Another set of sisters who are constantly compared. Jesus didn’t necessarily scold Martha for serving, we should all be servants for Christ. Sometimes we need to slow down from the distractions around us and sit at Jesus’ feet.
Leah and Rachel were sisters who spent most of their lives comparing themselves to each other. There will always be someone prettier, smarter, better dressed or more talented. God made you special the way you are! “Always be a first rate version of yourself and not a second rate version if someone else” -Judy Garland.
People tend to persecute those who are different from them. God didn’t promise that our lives would be easy as we serve Him. If we are truly serving God, we will be different from the world which will bring hardships at times. If you are being persecuted for your beliefs, you are probably doing the right thing. Remember, you have the most powerful God behind you, and His church to support you.
Matthew 5:9, “blessed are the peacemakers.” Having peace with others doesn’t mean minimizing yourself, it is choosing not to let conflict with others disturb your inner sleeping baby.
Matthew 5:8, the pure in heart will see God. Having a heart free of the world takes work every day. Only God holds the key. Through prayer and study, we can have a heart as white as Ava’s pants!
Matthew 5:7, showing mercy and forgiveness is sometimes hard to show others. But if we want God’s mercy and forgiveness, we must show it to others. *PLUS! Our studio producer, Emberli, let’s us know we aren’t as pretty as we thought!
Have you ever been extremely hungry or thirsty? When we are spiritually hungry and thirsty the only way to be filled is with the bread of life and water of eternal life that comes from Jesus (John 4:14).
Matthew 5:5 says the “meek will inherit the earth.” Meekness is not as hard as we think.
What does it mean to mourn sin? How does God comfort us? We discuss the second beatitude from Matthew 5:4.
