It's basically a chunk of carbon. But apparently there's a lot more to a diamond. Pliny the Elder thought pretty highly of them. DeBeers made us want them. And they're measured in C's. Why are they measured in carats? Who decided a D rating means it's colorless. And what's up with Chocolate Diamonds? So many questions. If you have 20 minutes, you may have some answers.
