When women of color think non-minority women are more powerful or more strategic they will always find shame around hiring their own. They will always hire and network from this internalized shame that POC can’t be premium.

The more she earns, the more she seeks refuge and support. When this woman learns herself she is less likely to become trapped.

The people pleaser was always there to answer your texts, pick up your call, help you in a short notice and never itemize their assistance. But now they realize you don’t get rewards for always being available without requirement. The people pleaser is moving on.
