Patriots Hall of Famer, Sam Cunningham, joins In The Huddle host Pete Brock to discuss their time on the Patriots together, differences between the league then and now, and more. Cunningham played 9 seasons in New England, from 1973-1979 and 1981-82, where he accumulated a franchise record 5,453 rushing yards with 43 rushing touchdowns to accompany them (2nd in team history). He also played a large part in helping the Patriots set the NFL record for most rushing yards in a season with 3,165 yards in 1978, a contribution that earned him a Pro Bowl selection. He is a member of the Patriots 50th Anniversary Team and 1970s All-Decade Team, and he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2010.
