This is a great intro to the GWS SlowStick.  "Vanning" made this some time ago and suggests it is now horribly antiquated.  However, there is great info within this guide that I would like to help Vanning share.

At this date, I would recommend the following for a good brushless slowstick (I think Diggs would agree as well).
Motor
2 Servos
1825A ESC
Prop
Prop saver
Lipos (or even the 1650's)
