In this first sermon from our series in 1 Peter, we look at the rich truths found in Peter’s opening greeting. He reminds his readers of their identity as elect exiles, who were chosen by the foreknowledge of God, and who are strangers and pilgrims on the earth. He assures them that they are sanctified by the Spirit for obedience to Jesus Christ, and concludes with a prayer for grace and peace. As believers, are we walking in these truths in our own lives?
