In this passage, Jesus is asked the question: who will be saved? Jesus’ response, while not a direct answer to the question, is a passionate plea to examine our lives and to make sure we have chosen the narrow door. He reminds us that there is only one way of salvation, that today is the day of salvation, and that the door of salvation is open to all who respond in repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
