This dangerous doctrine of demons flatly contradicts Scripture, and it is commonly used as a smokescreen to justify sinful lifestyles. In other words, this dogma from the pit of Hell, βonce saved, always saved," appeals to the most carnal leanings of our humanity and gives false legitimacy for sin!
Listen, it is ridiculous to think (not to mention an affront to God's holiness) that we can stay in willful sin and still get to go to Heaven behind this dogma. This is a teaching straight from Satan himself. You are not safe yet until either Jesus returns, or you go by the way of the grave, then we shall have eternal life... if we'd remained faithful to Jesus! As we will see in the Scriptures today, we must continue to abide in Christ Jesus. Salvation is not unconditional, it is conditional.
There are many passages in the Bible that teaches us if we remain faithful, if we endure until the end, if we stand firm then... we shall be saved! It is replete with admonitions and exhortations to not fall away.Those who love this false doctrine want to have their cake and eat it too! They don't want to do the work of righteousness! They rather believe the teachings and traditions of men, rather than the wholesome teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who preached "repent or perish!" They rather believe what the pastor says because the pastor "entertains" and make them "feel welcomed!" Whereas, Christ demands discipleship and discipline and loyalty! They rather heap upon themselves teachers that will tickle their ears and not rebuke them! They are taught that no matter what they do, they cannot out-sin God's amazing grace. Meanwhile, they are being lured back on the broad way to Hell! They love to twist what Jesus said in John 10. Jesus was not talking to the rebellious disobedient follower. He was talking to the one who hears His voice and obeys Him. That is the one who remains in His hand and cannot be plucked out!
It is eternally destructive to think that all one has to do is "believe on Jesus" and not produce fruits of repentance. It's a sad day in the Body of Christ when you have the brethren scoffing at righteous and holiness teachings so that they can continue in what the Bible calls "practicing lawlessness." They are being seduced by spirits who get their teachings from demons to lead God's people astray. Do not be deceived! The unrighteous, even those who profess Jesus, will not inherit the Kingdom of God. The Lord did tell us that many will say on that day, "Lord Lord" and He will tell them to, "Depart from Me I never knew you!" Amen! π― REPENT and BELIEVE and TURN back to God!
