In 1945, the body of 74 year-old Charles Walton was found near to the village of Lower Quinton, England.  His throat slashed, a pitchfork pinning him to the frozen ground, and a deep cross carved into his chest.  Despite the arrival of the foremost detective of the day, the crime remains unsolved and, possibly as a result of the apparent reluctance of locals to discuss the crime or Walton, there are many notions that suggest the crime was of a ritual nature.  Was Walton a wizard or a witch -- the crime enacted so as to bring an end to some perceived maleficia? Ansir & Sophia discuss the crime and the possible motives on Inquiry 29!
