Have your kids ever disobeyed your rules? Have they ever said “no” or ignored your instructions? When they get in trouble, what’s typically the first answer they give for a reason why? The most common is “I don’t know!”

But if we really dig deeper and get them to open up, they will be more honest and probably answer along the line of “Because I wanted to do it”. There’s the real answer.

And it’s OUR answer when it comes to ignoring God or disobeying His Word. Because “I don’t want to”.
