Day 2 of the Championships at Randwick saw one of the best fields assembled on Australian soil battling it out for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes. The race lived up to the billing with a dominate win to English raider Addeybb. The Sydney Cup was run and won by Etah James, with the highly fancied favorite Young Rascal failing to fire.
