This is the Think BIG Dentistry Show where your hosts Dr. John and Marilee will show you how to give your indecision and confusion a back seat to decisive, goal-driven decisions to move you forward. Where we will breakout of the mundane and normal ordinary biases and ideas about running a dental practice and propel you and your practice into profit! We’ll give you systems and strategies to create a successful practice along with the freedom to live your most powerful life.

Today, Dr. John and I introduce the first episode of our show and our desire to connect with our audience using great content which relates to our audience.

I first start off by tagging Dr. John as a visionary. Why? I believe that Dr. John has the ability to see where dentistry is going and to see the potential inside the profession. In addition, I also see the ability of Dr. John to be able to identify the traits and characteristics on a personal level, which allow individuals to excel.

We will dig into how Dr. John encourages and inspires others to be visionaries. Dr. John states, “I love the potential of people”. He enjoys understanding others and sharing with others what he is seeing and the potential inside others. When he sees this potential in others and shows them their potential, they are often scared. He assists people to move through these feelings to be able to achieve their dream.

We also learn how others are not fulfilling their dreams by staying in the “middle ground” in their personal and their professional lives. The more one can achieve professionally, the easier the process to succeed personally. Build your vision - a goal that is compelling for you to achieve!

Ask yourself the following questions to build your vision:

  1. What do you expect your practice to achieve in the upcoming year?
  2. What does your goal look like and feel like?
  3. Are you being a leader and creating a buy-in of your staff for your vision?
  4. Do you believe you can achieve your goals?
  5. What actions are you taking to show you believe in your goal?
  6. What is standing in your way of achieving your vision and goals?
  7. Who is responsible for your success?

Listen in to find out how Dr. John creates his vision, dreams and goals. How he learned about changing people’s lives, getting them out of pain, and creating harmony in their quality of life. How Dr. John views FEAR (Face Everything And Rise), and even if you’re scared about making a decision, you can still move forward. Think big, dream big to become the enriched individual waiting to come out!
