In this episode I have the pleasure of talking to Adé Adeniji, a trainer, coach, interfaith minister and storyteller Although both Adé and I attended The Bridge Retreat (at different times) this meeting was our very first, even so, we were able to jump into an intimate, beautiful conversation from how children internalise racism, violence in the workplace, belonging and becoming who you were always meant to be. This conversation is rich, moving and uplifting in equal measure. In the episode we also discuss: - Practicing self care - How systemic racism continues to be ignored - What called Adé to start therapy - Identity, upbringing and sexuality and the importance of finding our sense of belonging - Shame resilience and boundaries - Adé’s work as an interfaith minister Referenced in the episode: The Bridge Retreat: https://www.thebridgeretreat.com/
