Celeste M. Cooper was born to play this part...or at least trained for it by force as a child. Cooper, was a track, basketball and swimming star who's father was tough when it came to being the best at the sports she participated in.
Fast forward a few years and we come to Range Runner, a film described as:
A woman thru-hiking an isolated trail runs into trouble when her pack is hijacked by two men hiding out in the woods, desperate and on the run. Now, stranded and left to fend for herself, she has a choice: crawl back to her normal life in defeat, or push forward and take back what was stolen from her.
We spoke with Cooper about how being physically and mentally prepared she had to be for her role as Mel, working with her co-stars who seemed quite threatening on camera and how fantastic the movie turned out on only a month's shooting schedule.
Range Runner is out now on VOD find it at www.fatalfunnelfilms.com and follow Celeste M. Cooper @_be_that_light_.
