As Jesus approached the city that would slay Him, why was He sobbing rather than seething? Perhaps partly because the tragedy was bigger than a few jealous Pharisees or a squad of Roman centurions or a betraying disciple. The problem was bigger than Jerusalem. Jesus saw the disrepair of an entire world.
