Dr Sarah Dickson-Hoyle, researcher in the Faculty of Forestry at the University of British Columbia, joins 980 CFPL's Mike Stubbs to talk about what we can learn from our Indigenous communities about forest fires, and how implementing Indigenous strategies, like controlled forest fires, can make forests more resilient. Dr. Dickson-Hoyle also dives into how these communities have been impacted by the forest fires.
