In Exodus 24 God calls Moses to come up higher on the mountain, with seventy elders and three priests. Then, out of nowhere, it says that Joshua, Moses’ assistant, and minister, climbed up higher on the mountain with Moses while the elders and priests had to look on from a distance.  Why? The seventy elders had an encounter with God, but we will see that sons have deep encounters with God.
