Economists are surprised we aren’t in a recession. In our view, the biggest surprise continues to be the resilience of the global economy. So where to from here?
We aren’t here to point forecast interest rates, but the trend remains. Inflation continues to be sticky, and rates will march higher. In the 2010’s, the market under-estimated growth and inflation. The 2020’s will be different.
