The concept of white privilege is a myth. After visiting my home country in west Africa, I was reminded as to how fortunate I was to be living in America. Being a black American, I've never felt that I was not provided the same opportunities as my white counterpart, yet many African Americans as well as other minorities believe in the concept of white privilege.
