CBC producer Gavin Simms has a thing for sled dogs. His own dog is a husky, so he probably pays more attention than most when he spots one. During the pandemic, Gavin found himself watching the Disney movie TOGO starring Willem Dafoe and he couldn’t shake the feeling that he had seen the star dog before. And not just anywhere but in his tiny hometown of Hermitage, Newfoundland. Turns out he was right!
