- When you ask people how they are doing, how do people typically respond?
- Do you tend to value tasks and projects too highly? Do you tend to validate “being busy” as a good thing?
- Do you shrug off personal time with Jesus because you are too busy?
- What types of friendships do you have (lifelong, surface level, seasonal, etc)?
- Is this something you see men struggling with?
- Are you “friend-poor and acquaintance-rich” as Dan put it?
- What do good, healthy, deep friendships look like?
- Are you really known well? Do you actually know anyone else really well?
- Read Galatians 4:8-9. How should being known by God affect us?
- Do you attach your value to job success, children’s involvement, or other external factors?
- How can you be more present with your wife, your kids, and with your friends this week?
