How do you measure leadership? This is the second question I ask all my clients and I’m yet to receive a good answer.

The answers range from “we don’t” to woefully inadequate answers like “attrition.” Why would anyone use attrition to measure leadership? That’s like trying to change the score of a game after it’s over. Your best team members have left, it’s too late to try to measure leadership now.
