Vanessa Vadim is a French-American artist and filmmaker. She co-founded MayDay Media, a non-profit documentary production company, with Rory Kennedy. Her documentary work includes "Fire In Our House" and "The Quilts of Gee's Bend." She was a syndicated environmental columnist for The Mother Nature Network, and small-scale farmer. Her films are are an extension of her passion for civil rights across the social spectrum.
