In today's passage, the 5th and 6th seals are opened. The rapture has happened and man finally gets what they want - to be totally self-governed, no God in their lives, and no Christians. But there will still be many people coming to faith during this time, but they also will be killed for their faith. The sixth seal will bring great earthquakes and cataclysmic events on the earth, as the whole earth is in upheaval.
