Matthew 16:13-20 Thomas Cranmer was born on July 2, 1489.  He died nearly five months after he watched his friends Hugh Latimer and Nicholas Ridley burn to death at the stake for his role as a protestant against the Roman Catholic Church and as the archbishop of the Church of England (Anglican Church).  Like his friends, it is believed that Cranmer also attended the White Horse Bible study that shaped his thinking that salvation was by grace alone, through faith The post Here I Stand: Christ Alone appeared first on Meadowbrooke Church.
