DIVE IN QUESTIONS
The angels asked the women on that Easter morning in Luke: “Why do you look for the living among the dead?” What about you? Are you looking for a living Jesus to meet you today in this worship service?
What is your Emmaus? That is, what’s the place you go or thing you do when you’re angry, grieving, or simply want to escape your life?
What did you learn or see anew in the story of Cleopas and his fellow traveler on their journey to (and back again from) Emmaus today?
What did Jesus do to listen and renew the hope and faith of these downcast disciples? What might have he said about the feasts do you think…?
Where do you see the living Jesus today? Where might you see him in the days to come? And how might you share that good news of the living Jesus with other disciples in need of hope?
