In Episode #17 of a Faithful God Podcast, Tammy sits down with guest, Barb Miller from Hard Things of Faith, as shares her journey of finding hope and healing after she had an abortion at age 19.
When she was five years old, her father told her she'd be 19, knocked up and no good.
So when Barb found herself pregnant at 19, she felt she had no choice but to abort her baby.
Barb shares that though her boyfriend wanted to keep the baby and marry her, she knew her father would never let her live it down.
Barb tells us that she believed she was going to hell and there was no way God would ever forgive or love her after what she'd done.
Though the abuse Barb suffered from her father didn't end until the day he died, she found true healing when she found herself in front of a pastor who showed her that there was nothing in her life that would ever keep her from God's unconditional love.
Barb shares her hard, but beautiful story of redemption and renewal and what she's learned along the way.
If you're struggling with post-abortive grief, I want you to know there is hope!
Nothing you've done can keep you away from His unconditional love for you. I encourage you to reach out to Barb and find a program in your area to begin your journey of healing.
Because, my friend, you deserve healing!
As you listen to today's show, I want to encourage you that no matter what you believe regarding abortion, you choose to walk in love.
One of my favorite quotes is,
You don't have to think the same, you just have to love the same.

And as you listen to today's show, my prayer is that no matter what you believe, you choose to point others to God by walking alongside your friends and family and just "be Jesus to them."
So grab your favorite beverage, that basket of clothes that needs folding, or turn up the volume on your morning commute and listen to this week's show, Hope and Healing After Abortion.
