Does this sound familiar?
...Hey, good morning, how are you?
...Busy, so busy. How are you do?
...So busy too.
This is a common phrase we hear in our hospital departments and clinics. We almost see this as a badge of honor. The phrase "I am so busy" has become some sort of medal that a busy physician is looking to win. For some physicians, there is this notion that we must be "busy" to succeed--to reach the next level of success.
Friends, stop being busy and learn the skills to be a more productive (and healthier) physician.
