State health officials continue to try and find ways to stem the tide of outbreaks of Covid 19, two this week at nursing homes in Mercer and Grant counties. Federal health officials and Governor Jim Justice are concerned about the outbreaks in Kentucky and Ohio which are finding their way into border counties. Governor Justice and Senator Manchin trade barbs over the spending of federal pandemic dollars allocated to West Virginia. A response from the V-A claims no responsibility in the deaths of veterans named in two of the civil lawsuits filed over those veterans deaths.
