Schools in West Virginia will not reopen for the academic year. However, Governor Jim Justice says distances learning must continue, the food program must continue, and counties should place a high priority on creating and executing a commencement ceremony for the Class of 2020. The state high school basketball tournaments and the spring high school sports are also cancelled with the Governor's announcement. Hospitals are starting to submit their applications to begin doing elective and non-emergency procedures again in West Virginia and the Supreme Court has ruled the state's Right to Work law will stand.
