We see sins like murder, rape, or child molestation and say, -I could never be capable of such an act.- But we when say that, we are denying the very thing Jesus is teaching here - that the human heart is the soil bed of every form of depravity. The seeds of the most wicked of impulses may lie dormant or be restrained by common grace, but make no mistake friends, the same root of evil in the pedophile's heart lives also in ours. J.C.
