There is a sweet irony of divine grace here in these verses. The dishonest reputation of shepherds made their testimony as witnesses inadmissible in any legal matter of this culture, and yet here God had come to them with the most important news this world will ever hear. The eternal Son of God laid aside the privileges of his glory in heaven and come to earth, and the only witnesses who had any idea clue what was really going on was a group of outcast shepherds, but they didn't let the stigma of their way of life stop them from sharing their experience of God's grace, and friend, the world might just shrug off your testimony to the saving power of Christ as foolishness, but keep sharing anyway. Don't let something you've done in your past or some personal or social stigma keep you from making widely known what God has done for you.
