PA459 Psalm 10:1-11:7 mp3

In this message, we continue the pair of Psalms 9 and 10, which together form an irregular acrostic, talking about the wicked and their apparent success in this world. It also looks forward to the future “man of sin” and his actions in the rebellion and tribulation periods to come. Yet their power will be broken when God sits as King. Psalm 11 continues the topic of the wicked, who seek to destroy the foundations of righteousness. Yet the Lord is still in charge, and the wicked will come to no good end, whereas the righteous will behold God’s face in Christ’s glorious parousia.
