This week's EP features an NHL Veteran Therapist, Curtis Bell. Curtis is currently the Director of Sports Performance for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League. He began his career in hockey with the Flint Generals of the Colonial Hockey League and then went on to work for the Lightning, Devils, and Panthers until 2008.  He took a sabbatical of sorts from the league working in an ortho clinic, and then for the Edge School in Calgary, Alberta. In 2012 he returned to the NHL with the Penguins and has been there ever since, winning two Stanley Cups in the process.  He is Athletic Trainer, has a master’s in clinical nutrition, and graduated from Chiropractic College in 2017, all this after starting by dropping out of high school and joining the US Navy. Lots of great takeaways in this one, enjoy!
