When your values are clear to you, making decisions becomes easier. - Roy E Disney

This is an exercise that I went through with my Journey class recently and it’s super powerful. Everyone has values… good, bad, or neutral. They drive everything we do and when you want to level up in your life, you have to know what’s really steering the ship if you ever want to change course.

Answer these questions:
1. What do I spend the most time doing?
2. What do I find myself thinking about most often?
3. What do I spend my money on?
4. Where do I find myself giving the most effort?
5. What causes me worry or pain or anger, especially if I don’t have it?
6. What qualities of character do I notice and admire in others? What kind of people do I like to hang out with?
7. Prayerfully reflect on your answers - ask yourself: what do I find to be really important at this point in my life?
Values are things you are taking action on in life.
Ideas are things that you want.
Ideals become values only if they are things you live out.

I’d love to know what spoke to you today about this lesson? If you gave it a try, etc.
