Saying “Yes, Lord” is the first step to a life of impact. The stories of Moses and Gideon show how God meets us in unlikely places, even in fear or failure, and invites us to something greater. Despite their doubts, both chose to respond, and their obedience sparked change far beyond themselves. When we surrender our comfort, plans, and fears, we open the door for God to work through us. The ordinary becomes extraordinary, and our brokenness becomes strength. Impact begins with a willing heart.
God’s protection is fierce, constant, and personal, like a mother who senses danger before it strikes. Real peace comes from staying close to Him, not from calm circumstances. Even when life feels fragile, He guards the treasure inside us. What we speak matters, fear traps, but faith frees. Sometimes the biggest miracle is what never touched us because He quietly stood in the way. It's not about control; it's about trust.
Jesus' entry into Jerusalem wasn’t just a celebration, it was a desperate cry for rescue from a weary, oppressed people. But instead of fixing the world around them, He started by confronting what was broken within. True revival doesn’t begin with comfort or hype. It begins with hunger, surrender, and a real cry for change.
God’s rescue mission began the moment humanity sinned. When Adam and Eve fell, God didn’t just condemn them—He set a plan in motion to redeem us. He promised a Savior, Jesus, who would defeat sin and death. The cross wasn’t a backup plan, but God’s ultimate purpose. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, believers now walk in victory, empowered to overcome sin and darkness. God’s love relentlessly pursues us, offering grace and redemption no matter how far we’ve fallen.
Faith isn’t meant to be borrowed, imitated, or inherited—it must be personal. While secondhand faith may seem enough for a time, true spiritual power and transformation come only through a direct, firsthand relationship with Jesus Christ. Relying on others’ faith or simply going through religious motions can never replace a genuine heart transformation. A real encounter with Jesus is what strengthens and sustains faith, making it alive and deeply personal.
Faith isn’t meant to be secondhand—passed down through stories and experiences of others. It must become personal, a firsthand relationship with God that transforms lives. Scripture shows how faith often begins by hearing about God’s power and love, but true transformation happens when that faith becomes real through personal encounters with Him.Many trust in faith unknowingly in daily life yet struggle to apply that same trust in their relationship with God. Without vision, people lose direction, hope, and miss their purpose. God reveals His vision through prayer, fasting, His Word, and divine revelation. When we follow His vision, we move with divine purpose, impact others eternally, and experience supernatural results.
The focus of the 2025 Week of Prayer is on advancing God’s Kingdom through missions, emphasizing the importance of prayer and action to impact lives locally and globally. This time is dedicated to seeking God’s guidance for spreading the gospel, supporting missionaries, and reaching those in need. With daily prayer points, the church is invited to join together in praying for specific needs, from local communities to unreached nations, with the goal of fulfilling God’s call to make disciples of all people.
The importance of focus and perspective shapes how our actions reflect our inner priorities. Exploring humanity’s moral compass, the parable of the Good Samaritan reveals how our perspective directly influences our behavior. There’s also a look at how society shifted from divine truth to human reason during the Enlightenment, highlighting the need to root our lives in biblical truths. Embrace God's call by moving beyond halfway measures in your faith. Inspired by Abram's journey, this message challenges us to trust God's orchestration, even when it seems difficult or unclear. Reflect on areas where you might be settling for comfort and take steps to fully embrace God's promises. Persistence and dedication in faith will lead to the fulfillment of His promises.
Abram’s story, alongside his father Terah, illustrates the importance of not settling in our spiritual journey. Terah stopped in Haran, halfway to Canaan, and never reached the promised land, while Abram continued, trusting in God’s promise and driven by faith. This reminds us to trust God’s plans, even when they seem confusing, and to keep moving forward, regardless of opposition or comfort.
Have you ever said, “Meet Me Halfway?” It’s a concept we use all the time even with God. It’s like we try to convince God that we shouldn’t be forced to go the distance. We act like we paid our dues even though we only are halfway done but should be granted grace the rest of the journey.
Jesus demonstrates His deep compassion and desire for healing and restoration when He says, “Yes, I am willing,” to a man asking for healing. This shows that Jesus is always ready to help everyone.We are called to be passionate about our faith and actively use the gifts we have been given. Just as Jesus inspires the Israelites to rebuild Jerusalem, He calls us to make a positive impact on the world. When we feel God’s stirring, it is a sign that we already have what we need to act. To bring about change, we must be diligent and use our gifts consistently. Jesus is willing, but are we?
The sermon emphasized the importance of stirring up and reaching out to others, urging the congregation to draw near to God with a pure heart and hold fast to their faith. When we look at the plight and life of Mephibosheth, we can see the character of David. This story is a precursor and illustration of God’s character towards humanity. Much like David calling Mephibosheth back into the throne room from exile, God is calling you and I to do the same through the work and sacrifice of Jesus. Do we hear this call and are we willing to accept the gracious gift God has given us through his son Jesus Christ. It is a story of redemption and restoration and that story can continue today through Jesus Christ.

When God’s power was unleashed on the day of Pentecost so was his promises and purposes. Since the Kingdom is unstoppable, unbeatable, invincible when you align your life with Christ you too are unstoppable, unbeatable, invincible.

When you look up the definition of “convenience” you read words and phrases like; favorable, easy, comfortable; personal comfort or easy performance; freedom from difficulty. They all sound appealing but they’re all focused on our situation. God is more concerned with changing us which then will change our situation. Today, we’ll look at Challenge over Convenience.

There are things that God desires to happen in our lives that won’t happen unless we pray and fast. We’ll pray when we have too; but will we deny ourselves when we need too? Fasting breaks strongholds, liberates people, and moves us into a realm of realizing God’s power in our lives. There are things that God wills for us to do that we will not have the power to bring about unless we have spent time with Him. Fasting is abstaining from food (or other things) in order to give ourselves to prayer and fellowship with the Lord. We can literally eat ourselves out of God’s will. There are some blessings from God we will never receive unless we dethrone our King Stomach. Fasting is more than just missing a meal. Its power shows up because we commit to spend additional time in God’s presence.

We all have times of deep despair, but there are also times God gives us a sign and we stop and say, “You know, God really is here and working among us and I’m really not alone at all.” This acceptance can transform our lives and the lives of others. This is our resurrected life!
We all know what a physical coma is. It’s where we just aren’t able to respond physically. Some serious condition blocks our ability to communicate. But does this same process happen spiritually and if so, how do we awaken? How do we resurrect our spiritual life?

Saying that you have no regrets and that Life is Good requires us to take a certain position. Every morning, we each wake up with a choice: to focus on the obstacles in our lives, or to focus on the opportunities. Optimism is a powerful approach to accomplishing goals and living a fulfilling life. By acknowledging obstacles and opportunities—but focusing on the opportunities—optimism enables us to explore the world with open arms and an eye toward solutions and growth. It requires us to rejoice, refuse, and remember.
The book of Ecclesiastes strikes a chord in modern people who are studying the meaning of life. All things lead to meaninglessness and despair, if you live a life without God. The whole duty of a human being is to “fear God and keep his commandments.”
Worship is extreme love and devotion. It’s something we do, not something done to us. If my focus is on myself when I enter the church--getting my needs met, learning something, hearing a lesson that blesses me, being lifted by the singing--then Christ has no part in it. He becomes my servant, and the pastor and all the other so-called performers are there only for me. It's all about me.
When Jesus lived courageously on the earth he modeling the spiritual discipline of fasting perfectly by providing an example for us to follow in our daily lives. As a church we are fasting to deepen our relationship with God, to discover as never before His plan and purpose for our lives, and to experience a spiritual breakthrough that will revolutionize our church family and our community.
When you think of courageous living many thoughts come to mind. Bravery and lack of fear are front and center. Prayer fuels your ability to live courageously. Peace is one of the most sought-after things in the world. Unfortunately, many are worn out physically, spiritually, and mentally. They feel there’s just no way they can obtain peace in their lives. Jesus came to earth with the promise of Peace for anyone who wants it. The challenge for us is to accept it.
Freedom is one of the most sought-after things in the world. For those who have it they strive to keep it. For those who don’t they diligently want it. But that’s more about physical freedom and Jesus promised us spiritual freedom. But do we really seek after spiritual freedom as we do physical freedom?
I remember growing up and all the promises I heard and also made. Christmas time brings out a lot of promises, but there’s no bigger promise than those of our Father in Heaven. One of those promises is our happiness on earth. However, God’s perspective of happiness and ours may be very different.

Seven years ago, Sarah had a powerful experience with God that changed her life forever. She was nearing a point where she did not believe in God, addicted to drugs, and months away from marrying her girlfriend. One night, God crashed into her life and revealed His love and existence. He showed Sarah that He created her for a purpose much different than the life she was living. In that evening of miracles and revelation, God revealed she would be missionary. Sarah is now an ordained Assembly of God minister and headed to the lost and broken people of Guatemala.

The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother like Christ loves the church.
Webster defines passion as a powerful or compelling emotion or feeling. A strong feeling or desire. The Bible defines passion as a powerful suffering, affliction, affection, or compassion. Christ had this type of passion for us! A powerful compassion to reconnect us to God through Him. When he left earth after His resurrection, He left us the power of the Holy Spirit to endow us with a powerful passion to spread the word throughout the world. But do we have this same type of passion and if not, what can we do to get it?
There are many reasons why our spiritual journey is hindered. We normally can overtake these hindrances since it’s normally something we identify holding us back. However, when we stay in a state if being hindered it transitions to an enemy of your faith whereas now there’s an opposing force attacking our spiritual advancement.
Living a Better Story, the Christian Life, can be hindered by many factors such as disobedience, replacing God’s Word with prayer, lack of consistency and constancy, complacency, and rebellion.

As a servant, Jesus was viewed in many different perspectives. He had no intentions of ruling any kingdom on earth. He had no reason to ride on a white horse but rode on a borrowed donkey. He had no desire to appeal to the affluent and powerful as they would require. He came proclaiming a message to the meek and to the outcast. Jesus was just a servant but was actually the King of the universe!
To Reclaim something means to take back, or demand something that was taken from us or that we voluntarily surrendered. Jesus paid the price in redeeming our healing that we surrendered through our sin when He endured 39 lashings on His back just for your healing. This wasn't for your sins, this time He shed His blood solely for your healing! Your healing has been paid for with the Blood of Jesus!
We have been blessed with every spiritual blessing; we have been chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, grace-lavished, and unconditionally loved and accepted. We are pure, blameless and forgiven. We have received the hope of spending eternity with God. When we are in Christ, these aspects of our identity can never be altered by what we do or what happens to us. We cannot change God’s mind. We simply need to live by God’s view of us and not our own personal perceptions.
Losing ground in life is a bad thing, but losing ground spiritually is worse. Listen on how to reclaim those spiritual areas we surrender.
Baptism by immersion is commanded by the Scriptures. All who repent and believe Christ as Savior are to be baptized. They declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they also have been raised with Him to walk in newness in life.
The Lord's Supper, consisting of the elements --bread and the fruit of the vine-- is the symbol expressing our sharing the divine nature of our Lord Jesus Christ, a memorial of his suffering and death, and a prophecy of His second coming.
