Abbie is a wonderful winner and great role model for young women everywhere.

The WSL (World Surfing League) is the pinnacle of the surfing world, the Australian Grand Slam is made up of three events Including the BOOST cup which took place in South Straddie this week and for the first time ever two Sunny Coast Locals Sophie McCulloch from the North Shore Board-riders and Isabella Nichols from Coolum went head to head in the final, with the latter proving victorious......such a great achievement for our local surfers...
Be it reality TV, EUROvision or the Sol Bar Dami Im knows how to captivate an audience.
Appearing next week at the latter, Dami is on the Coast promoting her QLD tour as well as her new single Paper Dragons which she says is a "pop anthem aimed at pumping up a tired year" how true.

She joined Dave, Sam and Ash ahead of this weekends preliminary final.
The Sunshine Coast Lightning have had a mixed season and to take out their third premiership in 4 years they will have to beat a fired up Fever this weekend, a team that in their last two encounters have beaten us by 30 and 20 goals respectively, but go back to 2018 and when we traveled to Perth as massive underdogs only to take out the title in front of a parochial WA crowd of 15,000.
Assuming they do this, which I think they will, they will take on the 2020 Minor premiers the Melbourne Vixens a team which have handed us our bums in all three encounters we have met them this year and indeed as recent as our last two games by more than 20 goals.
In our favour, our girls haven't strung together four quarters of netball since round three, and when we do we will be unstoppable as we have proven time and time again.
Tash joined Dave, Sam and Ash this morning, Harry was supposed to but he is like our Sam and something of a technophobe and couldn't connect with the others. Harry and Tash even though tight as on the Block have been separated like almost all Victorians due to COVID, the team asked Tash how this impacted them and their relationship and what was the plan for the live auctions that must be impending...
Roz White has installed DEFIBRILLATORS in all of her Whites IGA stores after seeing the impact heart disease was having on her community.
Since installing them her Bli Bli store has facilitated the life saving zaps from the defib to a man who was arresting on the banks of the river and brought to the store where a staff member acted quickly and saved the mans life....
If that's not pro-active community awesomeness, I don't know what is.
