If you are stressed over the things you are facing in life or are overwhelmed by feelings that you are not enough, this message is a word to you. According to the word of God, you were made for this moment. Our text from three different scriptures sees the disciples facing a situation that was beyond their ability. In each case, the Lord responds that they lacked faith. He was not questioning the existence of their faith but that they failed to recognize the full potential of what was inside them. It is in us. We do not have to pray it down, God has already deposited it in our souls. We must wake up and recognize what we have and its potential. When we understand the potential of faith, we recognize our power to overcome whatever life brings our way. The Bible says that one grain of faith is all that it takes. Too often, we are overwhelmed by the voices that tell us that we are not enough and will never be enough. Those voices contradict the word of God. We must quit letting our past failures determine our future. We are trapped by our own thoughts that cannot leave our failures behind and look to God's future for us. Our text is clear that with only a small amount of faith, we can overcome our past and our dim view of ourselves. God’s word says we are forgiven. We were made for this moment.
