We often say that we are seeking God. God is calling today. The Bible tells us that we must seek Him when He can be found. This implies that there will be times when He cannot be found. The time to respond to God is when He is calling. We cannot get right with God after we die. In Luke 16 we read the story of a rich man that dies and is in hell. He sees Lazarus resting with Abraham. He begs to communicate with his brothers so that they did not fall into the same fate. We often try to negotiate with God, but this story tells us that we have to respond to God while He may be found.
