In our text, Jesus sends the disciples into the city to secure a place to eat for the Passover feast. The journey took them some two miles into town in search of a man with a water pitcher. Just as the Lord said, they found the man and were shown to the upper room. Bro. Marler offers several examples from his many years of ministry where simply following the Lords command, allowed a series of events to take place to bring blessing, to keep safe or to otherwise allow God’s plan to work out. If we maintain an alignment with God and His will, the course of our life is already assured.
