We live in a world that is acutely aware of the value of something. None of us want to be short changed. If we pay a price, we expect to get something in return. We all want what we have paid for. Our text says that God paid a price for us. He paid an enormous price for our salvation and our service. Bro. Hughes asks “Is God getting what He paid for in our life? He paid the ultimate price to buy back that which had been lost due to sin. We were bought with the blood of Christ. There is something about the blood of Jesus that is greater that anything we can understand. With all that He has done, and all that He as paid, how is it possible that some of us still struggle with submission? He paid the price, why are we still bound by sin? We are bought with a price; therefore we owe it to Him to glorify God through our life. Is God getting what He paid for?
