The gospel as described in our text is a story that is all familiar to us. However knowing the story of the death, burial and resurrection is not enough. We need to understand the significance of the events. We have to understand what God purchased by these events. How do we apply the gospel to our lives and how do we really obey the gospel. We must identify with Christ who was crucified. Secondly we must identify with the burial of Jesus. Finally we must identify with the resurrection. Bro. Hilton offers examples of how we can do this.
