Bro. Hughes gives us a history of the events in David’s life that led up to the 34th Psalm. David opens this Psalm with the most important decision he ever made in his life. No matter the situation, good or bad, he declares: “I will bless the Lord at all times.” This decision forever altered his life. He realized that he had been operating outside of the will of God and that he had taken matters into his own hands. Then he realized that God had been protecting him all the way. Whether he was on the throne or in the dungeon, God was his protector.
